Medium Bodied Fast Set Wet Weld PVC Cement is a medium bodied, fast set, dark blue, PVC Solvent Cement. This cement is specially formulated for applications where working conditions may not be dry. It is designed to provide a strong joint even if there is a constant dribble of water while making a joint. This product is ideal for irrigation, pool & spa applications. Making a joint while water is present is very risky. Care must be taken and water from the joining surface should be removed. If moisture is still present on the joining surface, work is done quickly and a longer cure time should be allowed.
This cement is good for joining Schedule 40 & 80 PVC pipes and fittings up to 8” diameter interference fit. It is approved for cold water pressure applications. It may used for non-pressure applications such as drain, waste, vent, sewer, gas, conduit etc. up to 10” diameter interference fit.
