Slotted Dual Wall HDPE Drainage Pipe is made by incorporating a heavy-duty aluminum inlet slot mounted on top of corrugated polyethylene pipe. The slotted inlet at grade intercepts sheet flow across a paved area or is installed against a curb or barrier in a gutter-type application. These high-capacity drains are designed to remove storm water as it flows across paved or cleared areas, or as it collects in low spots. Slot drains cost less than other systems that can support vehicular traffic, and are easy to install – ten-foot lengths can be handled without machinery and are quickly set in place. And because they are made using corrugated HDPE pipe, slot drains are highly corrosion and abrasion resistant.
