PVC Gasketed

Overview

PVC Gasketed joint connections use an integrated gasket that is molded into the bell end of the pipe or fittings. The spigot end of the pipe is beveled to facilitate insertion into the gasketed bell end. Lubricant must be used to ensure the spigot end is inserted properly. If a pipe is cut, an new bevel must be made on the cut end. An improperly beveled and lubricated spigot end will damage the bell gasket causing leaks.
