Socket-Fusion Machines rely on heat to bond two surfaces together. This method works just like butt fusion. Instead of heating the ends of two spigot ends of pipe, a tool is used to heat the spigot end of a pipe and the socket end of a fitting. The two are them joined together. Socket fusion is typical in smaller sizes of PE and PP pipe.
Socket-Fusion Machines are compact and easily transportable. A variety of accessories are available for these units, making field fusions simply and fast.
